The Brazilian, Ygor Coelho, looks tall and well-built, and he is certainly no shabby player, just losing G1 by a respectable score of 15-21 to the living legend, LCW.
It's always a delight to watch how the now 37-year-old maestro Lee Hyun Il handles a player a generation younger in badminton terms.
I think Anders Antonsen is bit unlucky to take on Lee Hyun Il in the opening round when the 'old man' is still fresh.
And LHI also anticipates and returns AA's smashes quite well, even forcing the much younger man to run all over the court
Good to see his defense up and running. He was left clueless against Nishimoto's overheads in Germany.
He‘s just getting a feel for the court and arena. Lin Dan‘s form is nothing to write home about, either. I still think either Lin Dan or Lee Chong Wei are going to win it this year.
oh man...i want some of whatever you're smoking! ZN is the only reason they got to where they are, lmao...

Just watched the Ohori match and must say she’s playing really well. Beautiful cross court blocks and smashes and net shots but there were a lot of contentious line calls there against SJH particularly giving Ohori MP in second game... there should be Hawkeye in all courts at this level.
Exciting matches in tv court later starting with TakaMatsu! Though I’d like to see the other XD matches... ZN/LYH v Chan/Goh and Dechapol/Sapsiree... Hope Chan/Goh take it! I’ve been waiting a while now for a Rio Olympic Final rematch in XD!
