Super support this. If people feel that strongly about a player's behaviour, they can also take it up with BWF.

What issue do you have with Chinese MD? Constantly highlighting their failures. Yeah, we get it they aren't good. Jog on.

Just like peoples lauding the Dragons success.

and its not even failure. its just stating facts & H2h. Really pair like LiuZhang wont lose twice or thrice to same opponents imo. just stating the fact if they separate XD1&XD2, they should separate LiLiu too, of course its sad since they played together from juniors.

It's easy to beat Li/Liu. No big deal. The Coaches don't expect anything beyond QF. If there is an iota of hope, it's Liu / Zhang. That's it.
There is a reason why countries like Denmark and Korea have long surpassed China.

Agree with this. Kevin also mentioned there are umpire and officials present on court. They also not breaking rules or overdoing.

Hoping for a tight match for Datuk vs Dragon, maybe a repeat of Rio.

Neck to neck 13-13 h2h! And both looking in form.

Greys high serve will never be a fault with 115cm rules next year even though i dont like it.

It will be next year problem for tall players like Ivanov, Mads..

    Strategy talk

LCW looks to be in fine attacking form..but fast and furious is not the way against CL.
Patient game with an unpredictable attack is the way to counter CL's retrieving ability coz he wont be ready with his defense..LCW implemented this strat in 2015 AE and KS did it in aus 17.

A perfect analogy of this situation i feel is this:

In chess ,perhaps, the best defensive player is Petrosian .But Spassky found a consistent way to beat him..Another then upcoming player(kasparov) asked Spassky how he beat Petrosian ,in reply, spassky said 'you cannot go gung ho against petrosian ....if u squeeze both his balls he becomes crazy and he kills u...but if u squeeze only one ball at a time u will win '

The analogy is weird but i feel provides the apt strategy to beat a near perfect CL.

Wrong. Chong Wei will have to be at his physically Impossible self ; exploding everywhere and being faster than light.

Patience game wouldn't bear any fruit. Penetration will be his aim.

It once again shows how bad the current quality of XD.. Very one sided match. I thought we always watch a very competitive XD match in the past.. This looks like 1st round match

CP is just too weak ... not that good in front court area ... and slow movement prone to deceptions

need to improve defense vs smashes as well ...

LCW will have zero chance if he plays long patient game.
He must attack often to even have a chance.
