If BWF allows it, why not? Many great sportsmans were as good in trash talking as their actual skill (Ali, Mayweather, Football players, etc)
PVS did well to command the Front court and make relatively less error. My concern is she allowed RI to save a lil too many GPS hence giving away the momentum and confidence. Won't be surprised to see a more neck to neck g2
Hey, the game still has rules, and there are umpires to enforce them on the court. And it's not like the game's played in INA pair home court, is it ? Players express & demonstrate their emotion in the game, always have been, and will be. It has many manifestations and forms, different level of intensity, but as long the rule isn't broken, they're trying to win the game, viewers/spectators opinion be damned. I always think this way, even back then when old time MAS player Ong Ewe Hock was quite infamous among my countrymen by being an irritating (some even said disrespectful) MF'er when playing against INA players IN Indonesia, i always laud his tactics & antics on the court as long the rules not broken.
Some boxers and MMA fighters taunt their opponents during fights (Anderson Silva is famous for showboating). And football players do trash talk to each other during matches.
Um, they hit each other to win. Football player kick people in the head and sometime injured their opponent. This is badminton, not any of those.
Minions will double hattrick this year with another title to go. I wonder who was the last players to accomplish this feat and who else did? Anyone help please.
I thought there is Hawk-Eye for service line as well. Sad to say, the INA MD pair , Kevin/Sukamuljo, doesn't endear themselves to many of us.
Calm down laa bro. I dont see any players complaint about him ? So why should we even most of the comentators are his fans tho !
