It'll be all answered the first match of evening session. AY is in some form, she has won all her previous matches against SN and PVS this few months rather convincingly. If PV fails to come up with an answer today, I'll pick AY as the tourney starter fav
The form might be there, but the stamina really can't be. 3 tournament finals in a row and already two marathon matches here in Hong Kong. After that, directly to the national championships. Given her schedule, I'm already amazed at how well she has been doing in the past weeks, but it can't continue indefinitely. I'd bet on Sindhu today if I were Momota!
Momota Well yes true, I expected the fatigue to catch up in France it didn't , I thought it'll be too good to be true in CHN, it wasn't so I believe she just has some supernatural gas tank fit. Hoping for a great match anyways
The afternoon session was so badly organized! the four WD were on display. Very cheap attitude. One of the match on court 1 was cancelled, and instead of putting the last match of court 2 on court 1, the organizers sticked to the plan and did not use court 1 (with TV and hawk-eye). After moving the tournaments from a great place (the ancient stadium was excellent) to a bad gymnasium (for a reason I cannot fathom), they mock people with this kind of line-up. No Hurrah
The match quality no way near it would usually be, *understably* But this camera angle makes the shots look even less fascinating, it's like the lens is soaking up all the intensity.
and Ma Jin as well I prefer this: The only tournament used for the calculation is level 2 and 3. The total is only 8 tournaments so the expectation is that the top players will focus on these 8 tournaments instead of having 15 and different players come and go in each tournaments.
oh dear. feeling sorry for the fans. But this is the common attitude of all SS hosters. ''Save the Best till 10pm'' and middle finger to travelling fans.
Sindhu outclassed Akane today. She sticked to the gameplan and did not divert her attention until the final point. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
What was AY trying to do in the last rally Anyways PVS made a great comeback, tomorrow against SJH? Sung is looking forward for a comeback after that mini low season.
Sigh, Akane was really out of synchro today. Too many went into the net and out. She couldn't adapt well to the current and waste a lot of chances.
Yes indeed. She really played like an Olympics silver medallist today. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
Not really the match expected Somehow Akane looked very uncomfortable physically -understandably after playing so much these past few weeks. Shaking out her right leg and right shoulder a lot I noticed. Tons of mistakes today on her signature drop shops and smashes down the line wasted a good 5-point lead in G2 and it got worse and worse. At least she was laughing at the situation this time Short rest before the Japan National Championship!
This match between LCW and SWH is a significant test for the former as the latter has the retrieving ability and consistency, the fitness and stamina to push hard and stretch him to the limit.
