TWK/OYS should have gotten a better score in G1 if not for every little mistakes.

Is there any better partner than Ong Yew Sin?
He is wasting every point available.

Looks like TWK has to carry OYS everytime soon.

actually OYS no burden at all, because Gideon/Kevin able to see OYS as fresh and inexperience, thus they made him do more mistakes while TWK just do watch, that's the key for Gideon/Kevin to win all the way...

currently the coach Cheah Soon Kit is researching to get some permanent strong pairs, but right now not yet have one since the end of Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong combination...

This is how I expect it to be next year with the revamp. It's inhumane to expect players to attend all level 2, 3, and 4 events.

Not good for Hirota doing double duties.

I think next year, not many players will double duties with so many tournaments.

Wow Fukushima and Hirota lost to Thai pair... either it's a drop in form the last few tournaments or Hirota just not up to double duties. This highlights just how good ZYL was though.

kevin also making too much mistakes since the first round, clearly not at his best in this tournament.

    hope he'll play better tomorrow.

ZYL had a good partner, though and not some mediocre hobbit. Anyway, I'd be really pissed if I were YF, because their dip in form coincides beautifully with the moment SH started playing xd.

Up to Matsumoto and Nagahara to continue JPN's semifinal streak in WD that started in India Open this year.

For a moment there I thought you were calling YF a mediocre hobbit. :p

I'd rather ampute my left leg with a spoon than commit such a lowly act of heresy. :D

But double duties are generally being disallowed now in CHN. It's as if they don't trust their current players to perform as well as players like ZYL and ZN did before. Even Jia Yifan said last week after winning WD in China: “We managed to find our energy when we were trailing in the third game,” said Jia. “It’s good that Chen is playing only one event here, so we were able to focus.”

Shame though since ZSW/CQC were one of my fave pairs and I think it's such a waste of talent not to enter ZSW in MD as well after reaching that final in Malaysia.

Dora/Jia way too strong for Nagahara/Matsumoto in g3? Japan has their hopes from what their "4-5"th best?

It only says how much Japan has recently improved. A no JPN WD SF equal to blue moon these days.

That is not a good comparison. When the russians play, they seem to get mad at each other. That was not the case at all with Chris/Joachim. Joachim did not put pressure on Chris. He was just trying to pump themselves up and Chris liked that. But perhaps she has grown now that she is no longer the "young" one in the pair.
