Is there something wrong with the Chinese national team? It's like almost everybody are underperforming since WC
Lu Kai/Yaqiong, Li/Liu, CL, Shi Yuqi, CHQ/JYF, Liu Cheng/Zhang Nan, Tian Houwei

The exceptions are only CYF and HB (maybe)

    So strange?

Goh/Lai is better than senior pair Tan/Lai, Chan/Cheah in this tournament, surviving until SF stage.
Hope Chen/Goh can get some decent result soon.

I think the CHN team's performance has something to do with the hectic and exhausting non-stop tournament schedule beginning with the Glasgow WC through the jetlagged two-week Chinese National Games and immediately followed by the KOR and/or JPN Opens for most of them, that is 4 or 5 consecutive weeks. I supposed many of them haven't fully recovered from it for once you unwound after that, it takes a quite a while to get back up. Just saying.

Many of them are not participating in Korea and Japan Open though. But maybe it is more psychological instead of physical.
Some of them played 5 weeks non-stop and actually affect the atmosphere of the camp as overall.

Plus also the shuffling of the WD and XD pairs, that somehow further discourage the players in performing.

Quite acceptable cause then...... Really interesting from the management perspective though

So happy for Lee Hyun Il. I predict him to advance all the way to the final.

Saina's serve is borderline fault, a matter of time, I guess.

Then she wouldn't be as flexible.

I think her and Nozomi are doing pretty well without longer legs

Looks like Saina will lose. She was playing so much better against Carolina Marin.
