Any idea which when was the last time an indian xd pair reached the superseries semis? Gwala—Diju/never?

Good show by pranav-sikky. India now has two good xd pairs (other being satwik/ashwini). Expecting good show from them over next couple of years.

    I really pity CTC.
    Always giving his best.
I will support him after this MAS player retires.

I just hope LCW somehow doesn't become SYQ's lunch following the questionable outing of LCW.

Jwala /Diju pair has reached the finals of Super Series Masters (which didn't had that much value) in 2009. Apart from that they have reached SF of China Masters SS, that I can remember.

Jwala Gutta/V Diju made it to the semifinals twice in SS Tournaments Denmark and China, 2011. They also made finals of the BWF Super Series Masters Finals and finished Runner Up in 2009. Their highest world rank was No.6.

Marin is in top form, it's her s to lose here. Not likely she'd lose to Nozomi again as players at the same level don't beat the other all the time, should be more evenly spread.

Son WH is more stable than CTC, Lin Dan can't afford to not step it up, forget about conserving energy for the following matches.

Actually, both Lin Dan and LCW don't wish to play three-setters but at their age it's becoming harder to avoid it.

LCW started strong against CTC in G1, eased off in G2, and was neck and neck before falling behind 10-15 in G3, at which point I thought it's finished for him, but he dug his heels in to close the gap and reached matchpoints 20-16, yet allowed CTC to saved 3 of them before closing it out at the net 21-19. That was close.

So does every player on CN/TW national team, but you don't see them hug like that...
