I no. It is just dat were saying it has the most solid feel So..... N ive never felt anything as solid as ZFII
Massively disappointed tbh. Only the 2nd string which was done at 30/32lbs. Even though I've used it to bash quite a few shuttles in the months I've had it. I don't expect it to sink so badly. But then again given Victor's track record recently, this is no surprise either. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
That's one unhappy HX900. . I always wanted to try a Victor racquet but the sinking problem always had me worried.
Funnily enough, I have never seen this here in DK - I run mine hard, really hard to be honest, 34LBS aerosonics and I have not seen this on my HX900 - They are re-strung 2-3 times a week the same with my HX800P which some have said had the same problem. I have not seen it, I play on the same team as 4 other HX800P/C players, all 4 with stringjobs in the +30LBS and 1-2 stringjobs per week and this has never been a problem. I would be interested in knowing where the rackets are manufactured? - I do not even rotate the grommets, never had issues with this - I used my hx800p for a full season, one of them saw perhaps 40 restrings with aerosonic during this period, and the frame is basically as it was when I got it.
It's probably good to bear in mind that different stringers may string looser or tighter. My stringer for example is about 2-4 lbs tighter than most. I find it tough to believe that any racquet can endure 30+ lbs without some damage to the grommet holes. My Z Force 2 racquets have shallow dents on the top holes with BG80P at 27*29. It's also caused by how hard the player hits, as the string tension alone is often insufficient to cause damage to the holes. For example, my N99 strung at 34 lbs with BG80P has holes in perfect condition despite the significantly higher tension.
Never seen this on my rackets, i string them myself on a topend machine so i know precisely how many lbs there's in them
Is grommet sinking just the grommets developing grooves in them, or is it actual damage to the underlying racket? Dented grommets seems like a small price to pay for 30/32 pounds of tension, tbqh.
Look carefully again at Ch1k0's photo. Grommets are expected to groove...its what they're designed to do to protect the string and frame. But frame indentation is not normal. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
Anyone played both MX90 and HX900 can compare them? Just cracked my MX90, considering another MX90 or give HX900 a try. Thanks in advance!
HX900 is far superior in every way IMO. Frame speed difference is negligible despite the different frame profiles. Doesn't have the whacky hold effect. But sweetspot is smaller too. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
About the same. But some might find it just a bit stiffer. Different materials in the shaft and different thicknesses make it hard to make a true comparison. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
Can sum1 tell does this racket have a better feel than 3U zfii People say it has a wonderful feeling but is it better than a zfii
sorry to ask this what is the whacky hold thing you mean. Still not sure since im own 4 mx90 doesnt feel this thing and now looking for newer model one. ps. im very new here pls advice. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
Some rackets like the Arcsabers have a hold effect on their string bed when you impact the shuttle. Even at higher tensions I notice this. It doesn't mean anything negative. I just personally dislike it. I Iike to have instant repulsion off my strings when I hit. It's one of the reasons I string so high. My technique just has better control for me this way. As is with all players. Your mileage may vary. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
