No worries, Lin Dan can play with earplugs on and wear a pair of sunglasses, looking fashionable to boot. To know the score, he just have to check the scoreboard. The biggest headache is that the umpire might issue him a yellow card , followed by a red card, for ignoring his instructions repeatedly, for something as simple as, 'Lin Dan, place your towel properly in the kitbox'. And then a final red card for disobeying the umpire's order, and out he goes, disqualified. That's how Marin can 'beat' Lin Dan, I suppose, in a match.
True that but there is a few in my mind, Kidambi and Axelsen. Their lose would be considered an upset, though on a big scale like LD/CL.
The English MD pair come across to me as playing with alot of nervous energy. Sent from my MI NOTE LTE using Tapatalk
The pressure really gets to them. I remember their match against an INA pair, not sure when. They look super tense there. Meanwhile, for Chung/Kim, it will be a bonus to strike the Bronze and Silver OG medallist consecutively.
Not if Fan123 is the umpire. I think Chen Long vs Marin would be close but I still favour Marin due to shrieks. Chen will get intimidated.
Agree. Guess its the pressure to win and quickly score points that makes their play looks nervous and jittery. They should calm down, hold their nerves and try to work the rally. Sent from my MI NOTE LTE using Tapatalk
That is a lethal pair. I worry Chen Long will get ordered by Marin just like that. Chen/Marin vs Lin/Tai or Lee/Tai would be good to see how their reaction would be.
