Goodness, Lin Dan git the return he wants and mishit it. how many times has he done that ? Not a good sign
Lin Dan simply turned it on at just the right time, but, really, it's too close for comfort for us fans.
The problem is Lin Dan knows he can't do that all the time and, therefore, has to be as economical as possible, only turning it on when needed; it's only R2, after all. Frankly, I'm still worried for his fitness/stamina, particularly, in the later stages. That's when all the physical advantage is with his younger opponents.
After watching today's game, and how tame LD can be, sorry @Nine Tailed Fox I am afraid SWH/KS might be too hard to carck
On hindsight, it seems to me , Lin Dan in G1, was trying to move his physically fitter and fresh , young opponent, as much as possible to drain some his energy and soften him up a bit; occasionally, it backfired, just as it did today albeit narrowly.
Holst ran out of steam in the end, had he have a stronger attack, the result could be different. LD's defense is a lot worse than even a couple of years ago, doubtful he would go all the way.
