    Hi Folks,

Used to buy Yonex shoes for years and fooled by their marketing ply and then last year bought Asics Gel blade 4, first time ever worn Asics, it's fantastic and better than any other Yonex shoes I had over the years, including Wilson, Hi-tec. Now thinking of having an additional shoe and exploring Mizuno, as they're also specialist sports shoe firm.

Now they're so many range to choose, from their indoor court range and none of them is marked for 'Badminton' even in their European site.

    You have:
    Steam
    Twister
    Stealth
    Rally
    Bolt

I like cushioning but not too high like basketball shoes.

I used to own a pair of Wave Rally 5's those were really good shoes. Had great cushioning to them and gripped the floor nicely. You should explore the rally series.

I own a pair of mizuno wave twister recently. This is a good shoe compare to the yonex shb. Perfect grip and cushioning. Good Luck.

Yes it is. Released on January 2015.

Mizuno developes a new outsole design for Wave Fang Pro and Wave Fang RX.

    thanks.

Mizuno shoes are indeed better than Yonex's.

Yonex's heels and cushion are too thick and high.

Thanks lads. Wave Fang is not listed on the European website, reluctant to order from Asian website. Surprised that Mizuno expects European customers to use handball and volleyball shoes for Badminton.

Better stick to Asics, as they advertise shoes that are for Badminton. Might get another Gel Blade 4 with new colour for this year.

I suspect the European distributor thinks the market for Mizuno badminton shoes is too small to bother with.

Time for you to take a trip out to Asia for an exploration. (And buy three pairs of badminton shoes!)

Just want to share this good deal. I just bought a pair of Mizuno Wave Lighting RX3 at 50% discount from Parkway Parade Wold of Sport. Usual retail price $189.00
I bought it for $94.50 .. Think is a good deal.

I used this also...but not too suitable for wide feet which i have, my feet knuckles always in pain after the games...other than that, its a great shoe and it's damn light yet provides adequate cushioning for a heavyweight like me :p

Hi, I'm planning to buy wave twister 4. Can you guys help out with sizing?
I usually wear size 27.0 yonex and victor shoes but the fit is a tad loose. I need to wear thick socks to compensate.

I read somewhere that mizuno shoes are sized smaller. Shall I buy 27.5 or stick with 27.0 Mizuno's?

    Appreciate the inputs. Thanks,

I have the Mizuno Wave Twister 4, it fits true to size. But the insole is sewn on and is flat. Stopped using this shoe after 3 times as I find the support not as good as other shoes.
