videoing badminton matches- gopro vs moto g4?

    I would like to video some of my badminton matches

    do you think i'd be better off with a moto g4, or a gopro?

    try the cheapest option for you first. i'm not familiar w/ your phone specs but some take very good video.

    Agree with samkool, try your moto first. Gopro may be too wide angle also.

    Moto G4 may overheat. Mine does after prolong filming for some reason =\

    I think you go for Go Pro 4.
    They are great when it come to video taping.
    You can always ask professional when come to what to use in videos.

    I filmed with a ZTE and a Moto. Not content with both. Moto E/G overheat. A couple years ago, I was thinking about a player-mounted/wearable device to record matches. Any suggestions?
    (Maybe I should open a new thread?)

    Someone did a video wearing a gopro on the head once... I almost threw up watching the first 20 secs...

    Apparently it's not comfortable either. My buddy tried it and he said it was not pleasant (also, like you said, it moves around too much/too fast).
