He tried to get the shuttle but he wasnt able to get it anyway so thats never snatching

Just an unhappy Tan unable to control his temper for holding the shuttle too long.

The incident was being settled with the umpire but Kevin just took it forcefully.

Boe was plain disrespectful especially from someone experienced

So everyone who finds a way to beat other people will talk that way after the match?

Maybe KevGid should say like what Boe did when they beat him at China Open last year when they were on a roll . Lol.

C'mon dudes, please be civilized losers even though your favorite teams might have been beaten... at least one may keep quiet or just move away instead of making prolonged fusses over something unimportant or irrelevant,,, flooding this thread

obviously she knew that she wasn't just touch but wreak the net. the opponents saw it, the umpire saw it and called fault.
and both Japanese had the nerve to protest to the umpire! unbelievable!

i suppose that's what pressure can do to you

From a sports perspective, better win dirty than lose fair, I guess...

Besides, it was a Sudirman cup SF deciding match 19-all situation, can we blame them?

But i do agree that Chan/Goh victory is snatched by the umpire at AllEngland over racket net call that never was.

It was 19-19 and i saw chenqingchen hit the net before i pressed something in the remote then when i saw it back a minute later china is serving for the match, what the hell happened?

Not sure why it always happens against china

Watanabe / Higashino earlier match as well

TBH I ain't aware that it's a fault for a player's racket to ever touch the BOTTOM of net at that very moment.. so I did wonder why instead the point was given to the CHN pair... but upon watching Jia pointed to the net and the umpire also hinted to the net in responding to Matsutomo's "light protesting gesture" then I did get it :) a less fortunate, despairing situation for the JPN pair at 19-19...

Some BCers here simply ignore the facts that the pressure being carried by all the players in that deciding match was tremendous (way much bigger than the individual tournament) for that match would determine the win/loss of their team... instead they are blowing up on the trivia

But it wasn't really a 'win dirty' was it? As far as rules are concerned, it was a fault by Matsutomo. Obviously, if they had just succeeded in putting the shuttle away it wouldn't have mattered. Plus, the fault would have technically occurred before the failed net putaway.

I am the one who is much forgiving about the behaviors of all the four players on the court of the last match knowing the huge pressure they're carrying along :p:D fig. said the burden inside the head was as large as carrying a mountain

I think it's more likely just an instant reflex than a "dirty" intention for it would be quite foolish to insist on something so obvious

    pressure... pressure....

Saw it. It was really unfortunate event.

Whether she touched the net or not, Chen still puts the shuttle to the net, it wouldnt have change the outcome of the point

    But rules are rules.

You misunderstood me. I wasn't saying that the Chinese won dirty. I was saying that the Japanese tried to win that point by protesting--"dirty" so to speak.
