Kevin/Marcus are making simple errors. Game 2 playing on their minds?

Only Marcus and Kevin are dominating at the moment and seem to be consistent. All other pairs are not (since Ahsan/Setiawan). Wonder why, they have so many top MD players but can't produce consistent pairs...

I really, really miss the Koreans!! I mean Kevin/Marcus are very exciting, but there are rarely spectacular matches w/ long rallies in the last tournaments. With LYD, YYS, Kims, KSH, SBC action was almost always guaranteed. Their solid defense produced long rallies and long matches. Not what we see at the moment.
I always enjoyed MD the most, at the moment other disciplines are more interesting to me.

On second thought, you're right. I think the KOR will be very strong again in MD, soon.

When Ahsan/Hendra first emerge, their rallies were very short, usually 3 to 4 shots.

Most of the INA's return shots are either fast and flat or soft and near the net, and the Danish pair is reading that.

Maybe INA coaches only prioritise Kevin/Gid. From what i saw earlier Herry only was watching Kev/Gid match..
Gave instructions in intervals to Ang/ricky

The danes are both in their mid/late thirties. IMO, they have passed their prime, esp for MD discipline where youthful speed and agility are great assets.

But what the Danes have is a wealth of experience (going through countless tournament and majors), skill and tactics in their arsenal. It is now working to their advantage.

Losing like this to BoMorg is the end to Kevin Gideon partnership, please split them and pair Kevin with Jordan who is powerful enough to score Points on smashing

Markus is 10 times better than Jordan who can even win his mixed matches these days.

They were just fatigued after winning 3 in a row.

They will be back to their invincible best next tourney.

IMHO, kevin/gideon are not that invincible. On the contrary, they are very much beatable. The match with BoMo kinda revealed that. Towards end of G3, they looked frustrated and abit lost how to counteract the Danes, who did a good job controlling their shots since G2 onwards.

Since the retirement/repairing of many top players since Rio, the level of current MD play, IMHO, is not as before. Perhaps it a time of rejuvenation for MD.
