Srikanth Kidambi stuns Shi Yuqi in 2 straight games! Srikanth is looking better and some confidence is back!

well both pairs haven't been playing that well lately so we'll see. jung/shin had a looong match today tho so i hope that doesn't impact their performance too much

top 4 seeds into the SF so they both should be good matches :)

Apart from KS, nobody reached even finals of SS i guess. Hence, they will definitely play at highest level.

Thats why i like men single apart from leechongwei and lindan , anybody can upset anybody. its just too easy for upset because its single match.

BSP must be very cautious LDK isn't only tricky but have the momentum by def much fancied opponents consecutively.

KS vs Anthony will be even better to watch.

SK.. The Chinese slayer! Has beaten LD and Shi Yuqi. I dont think he has beaten CL yet, as far as i recall. KS was in good form, I watch him play against the Japanese and his body language was too good. But i didn't expect him to beat shi yuqi. I also think if its KS vs Sai praneeth, Sai might win.. Just a wild thought and I doubt it will happen.

Agree. A good shift away from the usual Lee vs Lin which has become boring and dull, playing the same kind of badminton for so many years.

    A change is refreshing.

Yes. You are right. Sai has 4-1 h2h against srikanth. Sai' s game is what KS does not want to play. It is very Intimidating to him. They both have to play well tomorrow in order to meet in the final.

Lee Dong Keun finally avenged Son Wan Ho by beating two specific opponents.
    1. Soni Dwi Kuncoro who beat SWH last year.
    2. Jo Christie who beat SWH in R2.

I was at the stadium and it was packed. I guess that's why they encourage people to go for early bird promo which comes up to $25.60 for premium seating.

Luckily for the organisers 2 indian men singles players are still in the draw, even though they must have wished that Sindhu won today.

Marin obviously came with a game plan and followed throughout.

Example is here. Clear side view of him serving the shuttle .

Probably most of this year. I rarely see him serving too low.
I wonder why he wasn't fault often.
