I think Lin Dan's fitness/stamina is not up to it, winning back-to-back SS; not advisable for him to overstretch himself at his age. Even the fitter LCW is not doing it either, skipping the IND Open, now the SIN Open as well. The two have become more selective of the tournaments they play as they age; they have to if they want to prolong their careers.
Right, Lin Dan should hang his head in shame, kowtow and apologize to everybody, then throw his racquet away and announce he's quitting for good and disappear never to be seen or heard of ever again. We expect nothing less. Who else have not won the SIN Open ? Let's go after them too. No one should be spared.
No...LD will just drink some cold water and you know the rest... Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
It is not a big deal at all. I heard GC said that HYC is from Fuzhou, may be I heard wrongly. If indeed she is from Fuzhou , her clans man and woman who abound in Kuching will definitely root for her.Fuzhou people besides being very hard working are well known for being very supportive of their clans people in business , education and , in this case, sports
I listened to GC's intro for WYQ at the WD semi again. I had no idea where GC got her information from. But amazingly, I think she got it right. HYC is from QuZhou (衢州). GC pronounced it like Gu Zhou. The correct pronunciation is more like Chiu Zhou. The Q is tricky to pronounce for non-Chinese speakers. Nevertheless, full credit to GC for getting and sharing this piece of hard-to-find information.
Quzhou and Fuzhou are two diff things. I know HYQ is from Zhejiang she represented Zhejiang in the CBSL even refused to play for other clubs. Thx for the details.
