Kevin was so fast and his defence was superb. They out played the Chinese pair.

It must have hurt for LiLiu to lose this match, a match they dominated 90% of time i dont know if they can recover ( this match reminds me of kim/kim match vs fu/zhang in olympic) until one kim decides to retire its just that that match was much more dramatic like the korean leading 99% of the time. so i dont know if LiLiu can recover and by the time if they can.., will it matter?

as for tomorrow match, think jap is favorite but minions have nothing to lose.. so many chances for chinese to put this away.. it just shows you can execute 90% of time yet just 10% of time execution error cost you..so its a damner.. i dont think kevin gideon play exceptionally well today..its just too much thinking goes to thinking winning the first game too easy into the later stage of 2nd and 3rd.. too much wanting to win, too much being afraid to lose...

I would have thought kamura sonoda will have more energy. Looking at two last kevin/markus defeat at dubai against Mads and the Japs.., it was both 21-19 in the second game. in fact it was 20-13 in that jap match chased till 20-19. if that was 20-20 that would have been the end for any pair. im saying if kevin markus can keep it to 15-15 or 17-17 more likely they will win the match.

too many pairs are playing to win and yet being afraid to lose especially in mens double where all is about speed and precision. at 17-14 2nd game, Li Liu is playing like machinegun destroy.in the end that point proved to be the turning point, they should have enjoyed the lead.

the last time they played kamura/sonoda the japanese were faster as a pair, which neutralized the advantage gideon/sukamuljo usually have. i think the japanese are slight favorites because they tend to make fewer errors and have more power.

Nah I think they are no where near the class of Kevin/Markus which could be the best pair ever!

While i do think the minions are still the slight favorite in this game, let's not go overboard regarding their current great run & success, IMHO,

Hahahaha :D yeah sure. Let's wait with the declarations of 'best ever' until they have an OG medal and several WC ones.
Sure in dominant form right now though....will be interesting to see how they match up against the Japanese pair who proved to be too much for them in the past, too stable in defense for their mediocre smashes to gain too much of an advantage, and fast and brave enough to take on Kevin at the net...

Let's see if they can withstand the flickity flick serves of Kevin that seem to be as effective as Andy Roddicks Aces in tennis. :)
Only way that could happen is if service judges start faulting him and Marcus.

That is silly i dont think there is the best ever pair until they win that many.. right now , kevin markus is the best on the field of mens double. every pair has the best moment in their times but how many titles will they win during their best? mens double is not like lindan or chongwei dominating men single why because its hard to get two people working well all the time.

so what if the japs win the match or the tournament for that matter. they only have 2 superseries if they win the tour nothing exciting. they will most likely win the match since kevin markus has a draining 2 chinese match.

i think leeyongdae and hendrasetiawan is the best double player but they are not a pair. lee yongdae has 36 md superseries but he failed to win any WC but does that mean playing for SS is worthless? however overall i think hendra setiawan is a more complete double player and have won everything there is.

As predicted, the Japanese pair were schooled completely in quickfire time.

It wasn't even a contest, it was a pure thrashing of the highest order.

No current pair has a chance of beating this greatest pair!

wow here i thought kevin markus will be tired from the grueling matches.. wow truly a toast..

so enjoyable to watch...so quick so easy.. play net play drive play long anyway they want to play end result is still the same.. i think kamura is just too nervous when their points get caught again making two service errors..when minions are in front no stopping them..
