CBA will be mighty pleased to have the young Shi Yuqi able to take on Lee CW and all the foreign threats than to have to continue depending on the aging Lin Dan and sometimes inconsistent Chen Long alone.

If I were Shi Yuqi , I will go all out to beat Lin Dan, it's now or never, for when will such an opportunity presents itself again ?

    yeah yeah yeah.

First we were supposed to believe that Lin Dan will be given a free ride due to CHN team's orders.

    Now this.

    Sure.

It's an honourable exit for LD. Rather thangetting his clothes torn to shreds by foreign youngster, he can find some excuse here.
    Time to retire.

Lin Dan lost to SYQ in straight sets. Tomorrow's final is Lee Chong Wei vs Shi Yuqi.

I wanna mention here, Lindan can be beaten by any good young players. This is started from China open 2014 when K.Srikanth defeated him. Later, Victor Axelsen, Tommy Sugiarto, H.S.Prannoy and Other than Chen Long, there was no other chinese player defeated Lindan in the present scenario. Shi Yuqi did that. Good for the youngster. But , his test is not finished. He has to go through a very hard battle tomorrow. LCW will not give away as easy as Lindan. No other chinese player other than Chen Long and Lindan defeated LCW. So, it should be interesting tomorrow.

I think LD is just too tired after the Axelsen game.

Also, another theory is that LD's target is gold, not silver. so he knows that to beat LCW he needs all the energy he can get, meaning he has to play slowly without exerting too much against SYQ. if he plays all out and wins against SYQ he'll definitely lose badly against LCW. So he'd rather go out playing slowly (with a slight chance of winning playing this way) than lose badly and lose face against LCW. if he plays slowly and conserves energy against SYQ and still wins, then he thinks he'll stand a better chance against LCW who is faster and fitter than him now. otherwise he knows he won't stand a chance.

Done, Shi Yuqi victorious. Apparently, Lin Dan is half-spent from yesterday's draining match against VA. All the more SYQ would capitalize on it, who wouldn't ?

I posted this in the other thread:

Yup, I was right. LD is still not in the best of form and his fitness is the same or even worse than the Olympics. Age will take a toll and LD hasn't kept his form and shape like LCW. I think LD is more interested in his celebrity lifestyle and he probably has another mistress around the corner, lol

Well you can make many predictions and some will definitely hit the target.

This very same person earlier said that Shi Yuqi has got orders to lose.

The new generation is starting to take over, LCW is maybe the only real exception.

He doesn't realize he is confused believing what he wants to believe and even contradicting himself. He is writing his own script to suit his own narrative based on what he's been fed from whatever sources he accepts wholesale without question like a loyal soldier who is not expected to use his own brain and probe deeply for the truth.
