Men's singles semifinal has twisted plot when top-seed and home favourite Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk had no answer how to overcome Malaysian promising talent Lee Zii Jia, lost 18-21 / 12-21. 18 years old Lee will face Thai last representative in this category, Kantaphon Wangcharoen, both of them grabbed bronze medal at last year WJC in Bilbao. Indonesia has guaranteed one final berth through Tommy Sugiarto against Anthony Ginting, third seed Sugiarto pushed extra effort to down local resilient youngster Khosit Phetpradab while Ginting outmaneuvered Chinese hopeful Zhao Junpeng at last eight.

Unlike MS discipline, all top-four seeds of WS fulfill the last four scenario and the organizer arrange two ladies singles semifinal ties at TV Court. The in-form Aya Ohori will take on second seed Nitchaon Jindapol, head to head stats favour to the Japanese including last meeting when she beat Jindapol in THA GP Gold semifinal last October. Another intriguing encounter will involve title contender Busanan Ongbamrungphan and reigning World Junior Champion Chen Yufei. Busanan was forced to play extra games by Gao Fangjie in last sixteen, the hardest obstacle en route to last four. Chen is considered to be upcoming China leading player to accompany Sun Yu and He Bingjiao.

Men's doubles quarterfinal saw second seed Alfian/Ardianto were stunned by Chinese back up Huang KX/Wang YL in two straight-games. The fast attacking pair Huang/Wang will find home challengers 2014 World Junior Champion Kedren/Puavaranukroh. Other clash on top-half will stage IND GP Gold semifinal rematch, TPE combination Lu CY/Yang PH against INA newest pair Angriawan/Hardianto. Lu/Yang disappointed China experimenting pair Zhang N/Liu C after experienced a gruelling battle in opening game.

Scratch pair Polii/Sari will be fourth Indonesia rival for the clear favourite Chen/Jia. Current world number six had no trouble to pass all their opponents earlier, it's an uphill task for the Indonesians to create big upset today, they played long duration 78 minutes match to conquer Bao YX/Yu XH in very tight contest, 22-24 / 23-21 / 21-17. At bottom half draw, another Chinese young duo Huang DP/Li YH are expected to get tough test to face the fast-improved local pair Supajirakul/Taerattanachai.

Two mixed doubles frontrunners, recent Macau Open winner Zhang N/Li YH and second seed Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai is scripted to meet each other tomorrow. A smooth path for the Olympic Champion Zhang Nan and his young partner Li Yinhui to reach last four stage, they have Indonesian back ups Prasetya/Saufika for a place in final. Second seed Thai pair also had comfortable way but their semifinal opponent aren't no pushover, Terry Hee/Tan WH were KOR Masters semifinalist late last year.

    LIVE TV COVERAGE (01.00pm) :
