Well, I think NBA would decline Tago's entry, even if they hadn o other options... So not likely. But They must have somebody else who can get in to the top 16 within 3 years...

This guy is so ****ing stupid. After getting banned, he said that badminton was all his life and that he will continue to play, and he put 20kg of additional stress on his back and knees, when he knows he gets injured easily. Such a waste...
Kenichi Tago now has an active youtube coaching channel with some good content. Unfortunately, the videos don't have English CC, but he seems to be doing a fair bit of coaching in his school. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCd_DHtnFTIZ-pNWCXkCYb9w
Thanks for the link! He actually mentioned on his fairly active Twitter page that he was thinking of opening a Youtube channel, and was asking for some knowhow. As for other Twitter info: 1. Tago has now amassed over three hundred students at his academy, ... more than he can handle. 2. He plans to return to Japan between October 17 and 24. Anyone in Japan desiring to be personally coached by Tago during this period is welcome to contact him directly via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tago's official HP (http://tago-kenichi.net/), or blog. 3. From November, he will start video coaching online...!! ... Anyone anywhere will be able to access his expertise. Yes and no. Tago's "de-registration" from the NBA is still intact. He is not permitted to engage in any NBA-related activities, including coaching activities supported by local badminton associations. He is, however, free to coach privately. The fact that Tago is still "de-registered" will undoubtedly prevent some active Japanese players from seeking his services, but it is going to be interesting to see how this drama unfolds. I expect the NBA to quietly lift the ban within the next two years.
Kenichi Tago is like a big brother of kenta momota. I recall him in tears pleading guilty himself and at the same time plead leniency for momota. Taking all the blame for bringing momota to gambling dens. True bro indeed. Momota now is world no 1. He must never forget what Tago has done for him.
Yep, ... both good and bad. But I don't think it was Tago's tears that saved Momota. Tago's emotions were genuine enough, but they clearly played into the hands of (toed the line of?) the Nippon Badminton Association. In consideration of his potential, Momota' redeployment was planned even before that press conference was held.
