Yeah, I just wanted to point out that what they are showing in their official match is what is most efficient for them. A little anecdote, if you know the french defender Sagna, he's the kind of guy that seems to have square feet, absolutely no dribbling whatsoever, and for long we were mocking him with some friends. And one day I saw him at a training chilling, doing some tricks on his side that were astounding. He's just not good enough to use these effectively in matches, but hes still 300% better technically than basically every good football player I know personally :p.

Not to mention the diva crybaby personality, the pre-operative ugliness and the large amount of hate towards them....key difference being that CR is actually technically gifted

    ;)

technically ? compare to messi? his football techical is the same level her badminton techical. They're all fight for gold not for audience

and more, they attractive the large amount of negative sports fan. Those used messi to anti cr7, used tai tzu ying to anti marin

    I was making a joking comparison :D
But entirely seriously - Marin is not a good technical player by world class standards. It's all power and speed (and clever, patient play of course). No technical finesse.

How do I disrespect either of them...I simply said Marin isn't a technical player. There's no disrespect in that. I haven't even mentioned TTY in that comment - this is her thread and I have only commented positively on her, and even if I didn't, as long as the post is not very insulting you're still allowed to critique a player, even in a thread about them. Anything else would be censorship. But yeah, as I said, I haven't even done that, so I really dont know where you get the idea I disrespected TTY anywhere.

it's talking about marin technical, in tty's topic. Maybe disrespected is not the exactly word, so it's wrong topic. It's annoying me like when m10 and cr7 topic are all about mentioning the opponent

I feel it's a serious disrespect to compare female badminton players with male soccer players in general. But I guess we are all different. :p

But you were clearly the first one to come up with a personal comparison. ;)

Oh, and if it's football or soccer depends a lot on where you live. US americans hear the word football, and all they think of is this:

But it's about time that the badminton season kicks off at the All England's again. Hopefully that will put the football/soccer talk to a stop and we will get back to actual badminton business! :)

Third cross is missing, I think.
I tried it out, to see if it made a difference. I wasn't impressed.

It's an old myth that leaving out the 2nd or 3rd cross makes the string bed more responsive and powerful. Maybe easier to string, or she just learned it that way...? I seem to recall that someone mentioned she strings her rackets herself

It's her dad who is stringing her rackets. And he seems to be a true oldschool stringer.

TTY stringing pattern was done by her dad. Which her dad admits that it serves no purpose. As he was thought by an old teacher on the stringing pattern. He just followed what was thought.. (source from interview with Taiwan TV program )
