Angus is making Viktor run all over the place, scrambling and stretching him as much as possible, that's the only chance for him to deal with the tall aggressive Dane.

Looks like he'll have to retire, sadly. His movement has slowed immensely

EDIT: he's fighting on in impressive fashion though!

Just an injury scare for Viktor, anyway trailing 8-11 now and it's the mid-game interval to recover himself

VA still won. He'll see how bad the injury is in a few hours...

Ng Ka Long isn't a very bright player. Infact, I rate Darren Liew higher than him.

just came online; not much time to search this forum on the following point -
i think its ridiculous that the md danish pair withdraws, doing so with a timing whereby the next qualifying pair cant come in to replace them.
it may be that one of the member broke a leg getting down from his bunker bed on the morning of the start of tournament...i dont know...anything else is nonsense by my books.

While in Dubai Boe got sick and couldn't play.

Why is it, that all you rocket-science geniuses in here thinks, that Boe and Mogensen will travel to Dubai and stay there for some days, just to withdraw the day the tournament starts, for no apparent reason? He has a playing partner to consider as well, so I can promise you, that he would withdraw only if it's the last option. They have just made a come-back to top level badminton, after Mogensens incident, and managed to qualify for the most important event since the Olympic Games. If you had followed Boe's tweets the last week, you would have known how pumped up he was about coming to Dubai.

    Please.

I agree. Lots of assumption from other posters on this lol. Seemed really unlikely to me that they would have made the travel just to purposely withdraw on the first day. It's a shame it happened now, but they earned their spot !

Agreed. I can understand the disappointment of fans but we must empathise with the players as well. The decision to withdraw was surely not made lightly. It must have been agonising for the Danish pair to pull out at the eleventh hour.

Just watched TTY vs HBJ. What a performance from TTY ! Such a delight to watch as usual. Really the best technical skills on the WS tour. When she is on form she is pretty unstoppable.
