I'm surprised WJC (not that it means much) Sun Feixiang edged out one of INA's best hopeful Ihsan Mustofa. Glad to see CBA not wasting time in giving their young junior soon-to-be-graduate international exposure in the pro circuit asap.
At 18-20, Yunanto serves as if he himself wasn't ready, came up a bit short trying to serve high and duly punished quickly by Zhao Jun Peng who pounced on it smashing.
Yes, CBA should send them out to play in GPG tournaments in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan and Korea besides Macao and China, at least 4 of them if not all. Glad that SFX will get to play formidable players like Sai Praneet and Vincent Wong/Iskandar if he can proceed far into the tournament.
I like Zhao Junpengs game. He has very good smashes and is very fast. Cant understand why he can't progress. I hope to see him play well in this tournament.
Thanks, I'm still far from good The seeding report : http://system.bwfbadminton.com/uplo...on 2 (Updated Monday, 07th November 2016).pdf ROUND OF 32 (08.30am) => https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=2250AA6D-483B-4CB9-9B7A-AA841518953C Nothing big upset came yesterday, 7th seed Prannoy retired in early first game against TPE player Chen Chun Wei due to back injury. 18 years old current WJC Sun Feixiang edged past one of INA young trio Ihsan Maulana Mustofa, 22-20 / 21-19. It's quite unimpressive outcome by the trio post Rio OG after raise glimmer of hope early this season. Second seed, Ng Ka Long pulled out, he should better prepare for Dubai Finals maiden appearance. An intriguing tie will pit Wong Wing Ki against DEN Premier semifinalist Iskandar Zulkarnain today.
Last week HKG SS Finalist, Sameer Verma just lost 18-21 13-21 to this Indonesian up-and-coming shuttler Rank #126, Panghistu. An upset indeed.
i just now checked his previous results in this current year. he is a good player it seems. He defeated Jonathan Christie and xue song in Indonesia masters 2016.
He's been in the national team before Jonatan Christie but his international results are mostly disappointing. His skill is fine, but need more stamina, consistency and determination.
