Sun Yu is a bit uptight, she should just let go, nothing much at stake here.

Joachim Fischer Nielsen / Christinna Pedersen did a great job today to topple the top seed Ko Sung Hyun / Kim Ha Na out of the tournament today. Wow the Danish pair really played so well today. they went all out attacking nonstop to ein points. Congratulations for winning the match today.

Goh V Shem / Tan Wee Kiong also did a great job today to win over the tall China MD player of Li Junhui / Liu Yuchen. Both sides played very well but in the end it is the Malaysian MD that win the match. Congratulations.

As expected, Son WH ground out a victory in G3 over the visibly tiring Shi Yuqi.

19-16 and she started to play safe, wrongly, Sun Yu. Must step up the pressure, tighten the screws.

Sun Yu is going to simply lose if she can't play freely.

Results thus far at court 3.

Cheung Ngan Yi did teh unexpected thing today. She send Sayaka Sato packing in 2 straight sets. Cheung Ngan Yi really did a good job. She went all out smashing and attacking all the way to win her match. What an unexpected outcome indeed to be able to see a Hong Kong WS playing in the semi finals of a SSP event. Congratulations to Cheung Ngan Yi for playing so well to win her match today.

Lu Kai / Huang Yaqiong also played very well to win over their compatriot Wang Yilyu / Huang Dongping. Amazing. They totally outclassed their team mates to win the match today. Both have very good attacking skills too. COngratulations to Lu Kai / Huang Yaqiong for playing so well to win their match today.

Misaki Matsotomo / Ayaka Takahashi also did a good job to win over their compatriot Naoko Fukuman / Kurumi Yonao today. Both played so well and did a good job to win. On top of that both Misaki and Ayaka also have very good and powerful smashes. Congratulations ocne again to Misaki Matsutomo / Ayaka Takahashi for playing so well to win their WD match today.

I'm beginning to miss Wang Shixian's dogged determination, esp the way she handled Marin, Nozomi, Sindhu.

Sun Yu should take a leaf from Sindhu how to capitalize on her height and reach with long legs.
