I think LHI has the best racket skills in MS. You don't beat the current Olympic Bronze medallist and World number 4 at the age of 36 without something special.

 

Beating Axelsen on home ground at the age of 36 and as an independent player. Truly the evergreen of the MS circuit.

 

Wow LHI, 36 yr old can beat exceptional player 10 years younger in Victor Axelsen 22 yr old.

 

And at the end of the day, INA left with 1 XD pair, 1 WD pair and 2 MD pairs still standing.

 

I am salivating to watch Qtr final match between: TWK/GVS vs. LJH/LYC on court #1.

 

Nozomi and Akane is clashing again in Qtr final.

 

INA's doubles department more convincing than the singles department...

 

One of the best, but not THE best. But he also has an incredible reading of the game.

 

Lee Hyun Il, wow, he is to me the 5th Heavenly King in Lin Dan's era. Exquisite stroke play, his understanding and reading of the opponent's game,superb, a highly intelligent player, among the best of the best. Lin Dan, Lee CW, Taufik Hidayat, Peter Gade, Lee Hyun Il, and, of course, Chen Long, the reigning monarch now.

 

A reminder, Lee Hyun Il beat Viktor Axelsen for the second time in as many months. LHI's longevity is as impressive as Peter Gade's, the two best Evergreens.

I believe Lee CW will soon join the ranks of The Evergreens, I should say he is already and may surpass them all.

 

what about park sung hwan :X

 

I'm more impressed by Lee Hyun Il, more consistent, better stroke play. He has surpassed Park Sung Hwan who retired before the age of 30, iirc.

 

Nowhere near the level of LHI
