His style is too passive. And he is sticking with his father who I think can't offer anything new to ZZ.
Another aspect I don't like is his delaying tactics.

Chai Biao/Hong Wei, the top seed, retired after 2-1? That leaves all the remaining four CHN MD pairs in the second half of the draw.

Once LCW clears Wei Nan, his trickiest opponent, likely, he should sail into the finals.

Astrup/Rasmussen is definitely more ready for the Super Series than Attri/Reddy, but the Danes are just asking for trouble with their serves.... Study Boe or Lee Yong Dae properly-- once you stand still, DON'T move your racquet BEFORE you drop your shuttle.

But I still can't get over Astrup "blocking the net" as if he was playing volleyball, LOL.

I think Zulkiffli was trying to wear Leverdez out, but Leverdez actually has great stamina-- Leverdez's problem is that he's a bit big and slow for badminton, although he is so well-proportioned you can't really tell...

Oh, I just realized Peter Gade is at the Denmark Open, coaching Lucas Claerbout-- but with Lucas getting drawn against Angus Ng Ka Long, it looks like they'll be going back to France early....

Poor dear Lucas Claerbout. After playing so well in game 1 losing narrowly 21-13 he got trashed flat in the second set by Angus Ng Ka Long 21-8.

Sun Yu is doing such a good job now. She is leading the game 16-6. At the rate that she is playing she will trash Kim Hyo Min flat today.

18-7 now to Sun Yu. Surely she will win this match in straight sets already. Sun Yu is plyaing at her level best today.

Looks like lots of Olympic players could not live uo to their standard today. I was expecting Manu Attri / Sumeeth Reddy to do a good job to win their MD match today. At least both did such a good job to qualify and play in Rio Olympics 2016.

Such a pity to see them lose their MD match today to the young Danish MD.

Wow Nichaon Jindapol is doing a good job now. She is leading the game 11-5 over Akane Yamaguchi. Looks like another slow start for Olympics 2016 player.

looks like LCW is the only left in MS as his compatriots Iskandar, ZZ and CWF are out of the tournament, maybe LCW unlikely gonna survive Wei Nan anyway...
