Too bad, she lost straight-sets to China teenager.

Ratchanok Intanon looks tired in long rallies, Chen YF has pretty good defense to block Intanon attacking shots.

He Bingjiao ran out of steam in decider against Minatsu Mitani, too late to comeback, 21-18 / 19-21 / 16-21.

Seems WS will continue to be completely random for now, especially without Carolina Marin competing!

Adcocks seems to have lost their passion after their Olympic disappointment

He doesn't even need the line judges. JOJ's signature meltdown is sufficient :p

LHI just needed some more warm up due to old age, and the court had challenge so line judges did not help him.

Still no title for Yourgensen even in the absence of Three Guardians and Giant Brother Axelsen.

    What happened ?

Oh! 48 Year old Lee Hyun Il proved too talented for him now.

Three guardians, Lee-Chen-Lin :D It's hard to play back to back Superseries and JOJ hasn't enough stamina to counter 36 y.o. Lee HI.

Chen Yufei forced me to eat back my words, she's a different player today than yesterday.

He Bingjiao's lack of fitness and stamina showed, so obvious esp in G2 and even more so in G3. She really has to work harder on improving her fitness or she'll always have difficulty in the second of the back-to-back tournaments or sometimes in the later stage of the first tournament. Still young, this problem can be addressed now that she's fully in the senior circuit and expected to shoulder heavier responsibilities after the retirements of the two Wangs.

Hats off to Lee HI for overcoming JOJ with his consummate stroke play. Hard to believe even JOJ isn't coping well in back-to-back tourneys.

Huang Yuxiang is a bit sluggish and tame , no injection of pace at all, quite unlike him.

Iskandar's defense is solid and allows him to counterattack or turn defense into attack.

Qiao Bin got to steady himself and follow up on his attacks well or else Iskandar will scuttle him.

Qiao Bin has learnt to play smart from the way he dealt with Chou TC and Iskandar, keeping his cool, and stay focused, not just attack but time it right as well as vary his shotmaking a bit more.

Liu Xiaolong/Lu Kai seems a better combination than LXL/Qiu Zihan.

Iskandar still lack of experience, even worse his opponent Qiao Bin is better than him as Qiao Bin started playing any SS tournaments...
