    Surely it's not all about the Olympics alone, otherwise Ji Xinpeng with his one gold medal will be rated higher than LCW and most other great players.

    They surely belonged to the favourites if one did not just predict on the few past tournaments...
    They showed they are on par with Lee, yoo or ahsan, setiawan, just not consistent. But who is consistent in MD except Lee,yoo, but we knew they always fail at the big stage if one can say this bc there are always opponents and daily form etc

    After the Olympics, I think it's better for Zhang Nan to stick to MD alone and only help to mentor the younger XD players as I believe CHN have very promising up-and-coming XD pairs; it's in MD that CHN still have quite a bit of work to do.
