Well, experience and mentality won the md.
I think others were playing better.
But this doesn't matter, fu zhang were there when they had to...

That was an exciting finals for men's doubles but in terms of quality of play, the play was disappointing at the end. Fu Haifeng gave so many opportunities for Malaysia to win in the end. After so many give aways by Fu Haifeng, instead of capitalizing on the opportunity, Malaysia gives the advantage right back to China!

It was a good Men's doubles tournament by Malaysia. They did well to get to the final. Congratulations on both teams for their tournament play.

The pressure is now on LCW ...... I really hope he could play is normal game instead of the first game of the match against LD.

Wasted when they hold the gold point. China is the stronger who can control their nerve and pressure much better

A high tension-filled match, too close to call. Too bad there has to be a winner.

Congratulations to Fu Haifeng/Zhang Nan, Olympic MD Champion 2016.

So Fu has equaled the record of the GOAT, who has now disappeared from our radar screen.

If you want to see quality play go watch SS. Olympic game is more about metal strength.

FHF/ZN's vast experience and pedigree won the day. Seriously, I'd never have expected that CHN would take MD gold, their weakest link.

If someone had told me before the start of the tournament that Fu Haifeng/Zhang Nan would mount the winners' podium for Olympic gold, I would laugh it off.

What wasted opportunity, so darn close to tasting that Char-Siu and still so far....that elusive gold biscuit.
