Wat crap are you talking about-- she made sports history for a billion Indian by getting silver!!

Are Indian fans a bunch of glass cannons and special snow-flakes like the Chinese fans?

Best player won! Hopefully these 4 WS maintain to be the top player for at least 2 years. PVS beats a lot of good players though! Congrats for Silver Medal! At least it's better than Saina.

I think it's more of Marin didn't give her the chances to do so.

Sad that PVS lost, but a silver is still very good. I always liked Sindhu more than Saina for some reason.

I think in WS proactive badminton won. All four best players actively try to build points and attack. Interestingly men's singles game is going to reverse direction, thanks to their superb defence the one takes initiative loses points. That was so obvious watching Chen Long vs Viktor Axelsen today. I still enjoyed their match but though, it was very high quality badminton.

LD vs LCW 1h 23 mins

    Sindhu vs CM 1h 23mins

Same duration for both matches:eek::eek: What a coincidence and a nice number as well:D

PVS was clearly running out of steam and making more errors, needs more tournament experience to know how to pace herself.

CM (like NO and many others), having been through a career-halting injury, never pushed herself more than needed-- just kept ahead of PVS in G2 and G3, and allowed PVS to exert herself in the chase.

PVS might have more in her tank if she had eased up on the 2nd game to push through the 3rd?

Is it because Saina is the country's darling.

now PVS must start performing well in the SS circuit and not become a one-tournament wonder.

with age on her side, CM could dominate in the WS circuit. who will rise up to match her?
