Foreign coaches/talents is not what CHN needs, nothing to do with pride, maybe for MD, yes. I'd say their problem lies elsewhere, mostly to do with mismanagement and , perhaps, some complacency after the London 2012 clean sweep.

she lost the final 2 points, I would say she behaved perfectly normally at the end of the game.
And I don't even like her on court attitude ;)

It is all coach's mistakes. ZYL and TQ have problems about a year ago. YY and TYT never got along even from the beginning of the pair. ZN does not have the stamina to play MD and XD at the same time. Women singles have not won any SS titles in recent years. So there you go, I don't think anyone was really surprised.

In such a heated match with so much tension and stakes involved, the players and coaches tend to get carried away and do things they would regret later. It happens in every sport. No justification, it's the reality.

    Google translation is so funny:

It now appears that, for 12 years in London really just the beginning. Speaking of fixing everything from that field. Since the Chinese women's doubles Tian Zhao surprises upset all plans scheduled. China coach put wisdom underwear, drill competition system loopholes, indicating the king strategic lose. Koreans also know what to wear underwear. Four girls wearing underwear wisdom in the audience boos eventually ended his Olympic journey. This gives the ocean leaving considerable regret. In the years when the play their annual pinnacle, originally incidentally Xiao Li went to pick up at your fingertips that side defending the gold medal. Results from the field due to Zhao, from bitter to swallow. Continue, Tian Zhao combination expectations, get the gold medal, this gold medal as a red cloth, and may be exposed to the ...

i read through it. it is more fiction than actual reporting. pretty good writing skill from the author, but sounds too made up to me.

we will have to wait for report from the more mainstream established Chinese media.

Matsutomo was holding out her racquet for the shuttle which the judge has already asked to be pass to Matsutomo (the judge tried grabbing the shuttle from Rytter himself)-- it was Rytter who held the shuttle to her own face and away from the judge and Matsutomo.

Amazing how can you selectively remember the things you have just witnessed.

So what is your point? You are talking about a match, and I am talking about the whole game. China is bad, Korean is even worse. China can at least have a silver in MD and a bronze in XD. What did Korean have so far in all the matches?

Its really surprising that China didn't win a single medal in WD this Olympics. Who would have predicted this four years ago.

It is great to see how Matsutomo held to her calm and turn that energy into final few shots.

The Koreans still get bragging rights for WD-- sorry but whatever logic/strategy you are using cannot cancel out the fact the CHN didn't medal in WD this Olympic...

You acting like Chen Long-- who bragged that "Chinese badminton is still better than Korean badminton" after beating Son Wan Ho... sorry bro, doesn't cancel out the fact that CHN didn't medal in this year's Thomas Cup, LOL.

Sorry but white-knighting usually sounds ridiculous in sports-- because there are actual rules that determine conclusively who wins, you know?
