I will receive my JS12 later today. I'm looking forward to playing with it tonight and will report back on my thoughts very soon .. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Hi David Sorry to say I don't. An equivalent price in China was around £150 bearing in mind the weaker pound. JS12 is due to arrive in 2 weeks so I expect the shops will have stock by the end of September. Arriving in Europe doesn't mean the rackets are ready for shipping. They generally take two weeks to clear customs. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
It is priced at £149.99 on tennisnuts.com https://www.tennisnuts.com/shop/badminton/badminton-rackets/victor-jetspeed-s-12-badminton-1260549

Ah I was just wondering this yesterday. Hope to see you compare it to the JS10 and the BS12. I'm playing with a BS12N now and I'm curious how they all compare.
@Ch1k0 Coming from a 3U TK 9000 would you say the JS 10 3U or JS 12 3U would be the best progression in terms of super solid hits and packed smashes while being faster overall with slight head weight for momentum and feel. One of my biggest grimes is that defending is on the slower side with my 3U TK 9000 and I can't swing as fast sometimes. I am a power player that likes using quick wrist shots to pick up the game pace to control 4 corners; I played mostly singles in high/secondary school but am transitioning towards more doubles for college/university. I'm probably going to demo both rackets when the JS12 is in stock at my local retailer but wanted to get your 2 cents, Thanks!
JS10 3U hands down. Extra speed, better defence with the only loss being some power. How much will depend on your technique or whether you're able to flex the stiffer shaft better than the TK9000. That being said you may find it even more powerful instead as it's got better head speed thanks to the smaller comapct head and more aerodynamic frame. It also works pretty decently for the occasional singles games too.
Where would the JS12 have the upper hand then? Like what does it do better than the JS10 and TK 90000
Do we know what the stiffness is for the JS12 yet? Like the JS10 is stiffer than BS12, right? Where does JS12 fit in?
The JS12 is more forgiving. Easier to use. Better for continuous mindless smashing. Easier to defend with as well with the bigger head. Half a notch stiffer than the BS12 at best.
OK here it is... I've been on court twice with JS12. I agree it's a touch stiffer than BS12. To me shaft stiffness ranks alongside HX800. I can bend it pretty well. Hitting surface is more solid compared to BS12. Frame isn't as fast but still fast enough. I don't see JS12 as a replacement for BS12 but it certainly is a successor. I feel it hit harder. Whilst I really liked JS10 and the way it played, JS12 has a more open, friendly and stable feel on the racket face compared to a closed, tight feel on JS10. It's too early for a full review but so far I'm loving it and happy to leave both HX800 and JS10 in my bag. My version is 3U G5. Not sure how 4U version will play when it arrives. It could be better but I'll refrain from guessing. For me JS12 is a triumph. It's no surprise so many of the Victor sponsored players have switched to this racket. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
