That was more of a scream of relief than a scream of delight. LD not really satisfied with his form.

If LD play like this, he will devoured by LCW.

I think this match is quite beneficial for LCW to do his homework. I hope Lin Dan does not has any secret weapon hidden. If not LCW will be in trouble:oops:

Not the kind of victory I expect especially after the resounding 1st game masterful display of stroke play.

So sad to see yet another player LOSE his game to Lin Dan instead of forcing Lin Dan to win it... but Srikanth really needs more international tournament experience-- playing too much in the local league will just give him a false of confidence.

ALL international players will tell you that during big tournaments, your mind will start playing up in all kinds of ways and make you think about everything BUT the game at hand.

I dont know where you saw an extra gear, all I saw was Srikanth being less decisive on the attack and getting caught flat footed a couple of times...not really the LD the diehard fans had talked about tbh

I'll say LD was lucky to escape defeat. But his next match against LCW will be the real test.

That's what I fear too but I will expect a different Lin Dan when he's playing LCW. Let's see.

    Damn it!
    Feeling so sad now.
    Srikanth is so impatient.
    So close yet so far.
In any case, well played Srikanth.

What Srikanth showed is that if you can smash steeply at Lin Dan (and play everything well), then you have a chance of winning.

Without a steep smash, everything is ten times more difficult.
