    So Paul, if I was to get an 800p, which weight would you recommend? I'm a 4u zf2, vt80 & Vt80e user.

I asked this earlier on in the peace and Chiko recommends a lighter 3u.

Would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Renmazuo - tough decision. 4U is very nice. It can swing faster than a 3U and because it is lighter, it doesn't feel as stiff. Considering you are using 4U frames now, it would make sense to think about a 4U version.

The 4u does everything well. Coming from the JS10 and JS Ahmad my 800P's are a lovely all rounder.

I don't think any Victors need to be 3U these days, to be honest (though the Jets do benefit from it).

Wish I could have had a go of a 4U 800, actually - 3U I found slow and lacking sparkle, and I bet a 4U would have had more life in it.

(Paul's review is up now, by the way;))

Direct has both the P and C models.

I have the Control coming his week and looking forward to trying it.

Loved the solid feel of the Power through impact - even more solid than my MX90. Just a tad too stiff for me.

Anyone has compared the Hypernano X Air and the Hypernano X800 Control

... in terms of stiffness, balance point, swing speed
    Thanks :)

    Renmazuo...

The ZF2(4u) was my previous playing racquet and it plays slower than the HX800P(3u) simply because of its head-heaviness. Seeing that you're a HH kinda person, going with a lighter 3u is preferable if you don't want to lose out further on the power department, but if you crave even more speed, then go for the 4u. It depends on your current criteria and needs.

So which racquet do you thing is better overall, the ZF2 4u or HX800P 3u? How about power wise?

For me, the HX800P stands out better because it's a great all-rounder. It smashes good, drives sharp and defends well. Accurate too. The ZF2 is also a great racquet, just not quick enough for fast rallies and tiring for prolonged sessions. ZF2 does well in singles, the HX for doubles.

ZF2 has a higher power ceiling if you go all out on the kill. It's meant to crush shuttlecocks after all. HX800P will not be as heavy, but it being lighter in the head allows you to smash continuously.

I've been waiting for JS12 but after reading Paul's review about HX800P. I'm going to buy HX800P 3U.

I'm currently using JS10 3U with BP 310-315 and my backup racket NS9000X 3U BP 305-310. I hope I won't make a wrong decision to buy HX800P 3U. I'm afraid with the the hollow feel which many people described from the original HX800

You wont find that hollow feel of the original on the HX800P. The only similarity between them would be the name, it's a totally different beast.

Wow this thread has really come alive after cancellation of the TK9900

My contribution to this thread: I actually really like the original, I think it's underappreciated here on bc and the views of only a couple of individuals keep getting echoed around

It's a bit of a dilemma. A few people have mentioned that Victor 3u's aren't like Yonex 3u's in the respect that they are a tad lighter.

I'll probably go 4U to be safe and just sell if I need to.

Victor's weight range tends to be a little more relaxed as compared to Yonex's tighter margin.

And the shop owner always weigh my racquet before I pop by :D

I'm getting a HX800LTD P MYP version. Anyone has compared before a player code versus normal code?
