That's why once I realize what Lin Dan is going to do, I switched to watching Wang Zhengming's match and he didn't disappoint me beating Chou Tien Chen.

Seems like the way is paved for LCW to regain no. 1 again.

Hmm, Gronya isn't such a pushover, she really tries very hard, but she certainly needs a lot of exposure, better sparring partner and coaching as well, which is hard to come by in Australia, unfortunately.

No. It's Tommy that will represent Indonesia.

I certainly won't want to play XD against her, having to face her all the time. Nor do I want to play XD partnering her. Surely I needn't spell out why.:p:D

For all intents and purposes, CL's walkover is to enable LD advance without having to meet CL in the same draw. LD is expected to beat everyone in his path thenceforth and perhaps meet LCW in the final. Then he may have a chance to be WR2 and both CL and LD will be separated in Rio. How LD bungled his chances must be beyond the wildest imagination of not only CL but also his young conqueror Christie. Sony doesn't have to bother about LD anymore, more so since Sony had already shown he was better than LD at the Singapore Open!

Not really Tommy I think. Tommy in first option from ranking maybe yes, but the performance will be evaluated for several weeks later.

Indonesia still be able to think until the deadline date.

If Sony can at least reach final in this round, PBSI should appoint Sony instead of Tommy to represent Indonesia in the coming Rio olympic.

If you had followed the long discussion on LCW's doping incident, you would sympathize with him more.
as I recall he did not take the banned drug to improve his performance. He didn't even know it was banned as his doctor apparently prescribed him that drug as part of his healing process.

I think that will be unfair for Tommy. He is WR #8, whereas JC is far behind him. Moreover Tommy is an independent player and PBSI never give a statement they will reconsider the players that will be sent to the Olympics. Except for WS, PBSI haven't decided yet whether Maria Febe or Linda who will compete because their ranking difference is very tight (WR 24 & 22 respectively). The latest news says that PBSI prefer Linda though.

Well Chen Long can easily dispose players from other nations before finally giving Lin Dan a walkover when they meet, with that it will be easier to get a 1-2 ranking for China in the men's single.

Haha, really? He wants a third Olympic gold! He will "kill" both CL and LCW to get it. Sacrifice himself? Maybe when he becomes an
actor like Gallen Lo in "Golden Faith". o_O

Sorry for being off topic again. But Gallen Lo really played the sacrificial role very well. :)

Good that you still have faith in CL.
But his poor performance during the recent TC proved that a lower ranked player like SWH can beat him.
His disgrace at the TC, cost China a chance of winning back the TC. It may cost LYB his job too!
