Omg Cai Yun is criticising Chen Long hard on the CCTV5 stream! He expressed his bitter disappointment at his younger teammate, Chen Long's inability to live up to the team's expectations and his world ranking no. 1 position. He also added that he feels Lin Dan earned his former world ranking of no. 1 and solidified his place in the MS world through pure hard work and dedication and that Chen Long's position was handed to him rather easily after LCW's suspension. Moreover, Cai Yun mentioned that Lin Dan managed to carve out his reputation amongst a cadre of immensely capable individuals such as Lee Chong Wei, Gade and Hyun il while Chen Long has it easy as his opponents are weaker and at same level with each other. Extremely surprising for me to see a senior (former) Chinese team member lash out at his teammate so viciously. But I guess it can be somewhat justified by how upset he is at losing the MS1 especially on home ground against a lately-mediocre Son Wan Ho.
