Poor Mohd Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan. Being a world ranked no 2 pair I can certainly understand their feeling. They must have felt extremely sad to lose to an unknown and unranked Hong Kong MD pair that I myself honestly don't even know who they are Or Chin Chung / Tang Chun Man.

Thanks for having faith with our Malaysian pair when we Malaysians sometime has lost it. But like the late Sven Pri of Denmark on the eve of the semi finals of the Thomas Cup in 1976 warned his colleagues about being overconfident when facing a very young Malaysian team , "the Malaysian have a long tradition in Badminton more so in the Thomas Cup. They always rise to the occasion"

Its okay. I guess the saddest person today has to be Mohd Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan world ranked no 2 pair who lost to an unknown Hong Kong MD, Or Chin Chung / Tang Chun Man. But I also know that the player themselves must be sad too. Nevertheless in a MD match anything can happen just like the case of the Indonesian MD. I feel so sad on behalf of them. i just hope they can accept the defeat and move on.

He must be so good to win that match despite the tiredness. He seriously need to work on his physical as you said his technique is quite complete, so people can regard him as high as JC & Ginting.

Can't wait to see China vs Korea thomas team. They both have equal chance to proceed to semifinal. It may come down to the last MS as a decider. Hoping for an upset though :D

Honestly during that match the opponent made lots of unforced errors near the end of the match, Ihsan is a bit lucky ..
Off course he can be a world top player ..

Team INA cruises to the SF where they are expected to meet Team CHN with a 3-1 victory over HKG.
Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi completed a comfortable 21-16, 21-14 win over Law Cheuk Him/Yeung Shing Choy in just half an hour.

So the results are all out by now.

    Uber Cup match

India win Thailand 3-1. Congratulations to the India team. I salute them. Thumbs up. They did a good job to defy the odds and win it.

Korea win Indonesia 3-0. Congratulations to the Korea team. This is the best ever performance that I have seen from the Korean girls. Keep it up.

    Thomas Cup match

Malaysia win Chinese Taipei 3-1. Congratulations for playing well to win. Good team spirit as a whole. Very encouraging team. Go in as underdog but fight so hard, battle to win.

Indonesia win Hong Kong 3-1. Congratulations for playing so well to win. Good performance overall. Indonesia team has done it yet again. Good

Sourabh verma is 180 in the ranking. I watched the match. At the end, Sourabh made many mistakes . He was 11-10 leading in the 3rd game. But eventually lost it. But you have to remember, he is way below in the ranking to ishan.

KOR has very high potential to upset CHN.
I rated MD 1 55:45 to KOR and 50:50 for MD2. MS1 and MS2 is obvious advantage for CHN. If it come down to MS3 it will be quite close. Jeon is a very good player and has positive H2H against THW

Thanks for having such a high faith on the Korean team. But I must learn from you too. to be honest with you yesterday night I couldn't sleep at all kept thinking about why Korea will versus China in the QF. I kept thinking about Korea chances of winning. No matter how I kept thinking, I just couldn't see how Korea can win it. Thanks for your support anyway.
