INA leads HKG 2-1 as Jonatan Christie beat Hu Yun for the second time in a row in 3 hard-fought sets: 21-14, 18-21, 21-16! Earlier, Tommy Sugiarto also beat Angus Ng Ka Long in 3-sets: 11-21, 21-19, 21-15.

Jo is certainly on a roll as he was trailing 8-11 down in third-set and right after the interval he had a 9-1 run to overtake Hu Yun 17-12. There was a brief scare as the Hongkong player closed the gap down to 16-17. Luckily for INA, Jo won the last 4 pts of the match to take the rubber-set 21-16!

INA should have wrapped it up 3-0 but Mohd Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan continue their bad form as they lost in 2 tight-sets to rising HKG pair Tang Chun Man/Or Chin Chung 17-21, 19-21.

Now, INA has to rely on MD2 Angga Pratama/Ricky Karanda Suwardi to deliver the winning pt. If the INA pair loses, advantage will be to HKG as they have Wei Nan facing Ihsan Maulana Mustofa in MS3.

Good future for Indonesia. Starve of MS success for so long since Taufik slowed down after 2006. Its been almost 10 years since any Indonesian MS dominate the MS scene. Its been 21 years since they last won the All England MS.

Indeed, Jonatan Christie and Anthony Ginting have the credentials to be a top 10 player. We shall watch their progress with anticipation.

if malaysia loses this doubles match the tie can go either way.....really disappointed with our double pairs. used to be malaysia's strongest discipline in badminton.

IND upsets THA. The WS3 result is surprising. Although Jindapon's form is off lately, still expected her to win.

Fantastic. 19 year old Ruthvika shivani defeated dangerous Nichaon jindapol in straight games and india won the tie and entered semifinals . Has to meet china. Unfortunate.
