Alright, an ardent fan then :)

Nothing wrong in that, given how strong the CHN team's performance is tonight!

It's obvious from my original post that I really thought CHN's chances in MD are 50-50 against JPN, so if CHN dropped one of the MS, then the final outcome could go either way as I also believe Tian Houwei is not a sure bet as MS3. I mean you started your post by using the word 'mocking' which is derogatory. Anyway, it's OK, no need to get uptight about it. Words without facial expression and tone of voice often fail to convey the right intention, thus giving rise to misunderstanding.:)

Tian Houwei is very eager to perform and deliver for as MS3 his role could be crucial in a tiebreaker. And I believe the CHN coaches are watching him closely despite the result being academic now that CHN is already 4-0 up in the tie.

Riichi Takeshita is quite a good player at times but, unfortunately, doesn't have the results to show and do him justice.

Tian Houwei is finding his rhythm from somewhere in G2 and esp in G3.

Hoping China draws Malaysia. Would be a fun encounter. A challenging task but one which would feed the ego of the Chinese Giants.

Won't happen, cause the top-ranking teams at the group stage will be drawn against the second-ranked teams. MAS topped their group and so did China.

Perhaps, just perhaps, this match-up might happen in the Final? :)

Not what I expect from THW in the decider, almost running away with the set.

Commentator's name sounded something like Paul Hamm (?)
    Very witty and eloquent indeed!

That description may sound funny to you but if you were Japanese, you would find that offensive. And you describe the commentator as eloquent? Are you sure you understand the meaning of ' eloquent' ?
However, I agree with you he s refreshing. Refreshingly crude!

Curious to know how he'd describe Marin's... vocal characteristics.

So all of the matches will be different match-up than the group stage, except INA vs HKG mens team.

Bad luck for Korean Mens Team, their lost against MAS is heavily punished here.

Thomas Cup INA team will draw sword with HGK again. This time Wei Nan will play for sure.

This is the end for INA Uber Cup to draw Korea. 3-0 for sure Korea to win the qtr final.

And China mens team will be the first match for tomorrow, after having their latest match almost mid-night. Only 13 hours for rest and doing strategy against Korean.

Bad luck for Korea. What an escape for Malaysia.
