Carolina Marin is absolutely pathetic in team competition. It was on her to save her country's pride but a helpless captain exposes her team to 5-0 whitewash.

How can she justify losing to China's fourth WS?

Beatriz Corrales' highest ranking was 20, clearly no pushover.

Wang Yihan is merciless, can't afford to slip up in a team major.

Lorena Usle is the coolest within the Spanish team. First time to watch her.

Marin scored more points than the following 3 matches by her teammates alltogether, 58-51. and stayed on court longer as well.

Indonesia is struggling to beat Thailand
Indonesia will still be on Top Group B and be one of strong contender, but still vulnerable :(

Yes. But Thailand is actually good. The 4 doubles player are quite good. The singles players are not that good.

Going into quarters, it is probably either Thailand, Taipei, Korea or Japan which would be runner up. All have decent doubles players, especially Korea but not so hot singles player
