Why nobody has made any thread for the other three continental tournaments? I can understand for the other two, but the European one, I think, deserve at least a thread, right? :)

With RI's form.. And NO's... I really think that WS gold's will be outside china's hand.. MS... only LCW other than the chinese have a chance... XD will be contested between chinese, Indonesians, and Korean. MD is a bit unpredictable, but maybe.. Between Korea and Indonesians? WD.. maybe Luo twins?

With only 4 seeded pairs, there are some excellent potential early clashes in XD:

Shin Baek Chol/Choi Yoo Jung (WR10) vs Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying (WR11) in R1
Kenta Kazuno/Ayane Kurihara (WR18) vs Tan Kian Ming/ Lai Pei Jing (WR66) in R1 - battle of 2 upcoming pairs for the right to play Olympic Champs

    Xu Chen/Ma Jin (WR4) vs Tontowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir (WR2) in R2
Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto (WR8) vs Danny Chrisnanta/Vanessa Neo (WR25) in R2 - revenge time maybe ..... but SIN pair must dispose of Koreans first.
    Dechapol/Sapsiree (WR23) vs Lu Kai/Huang Yaqiong (WR12) in R2 - Thais can be a handful ....

Any idea who would like to win Asian Championship?

Lee Dong Keun and Wang Zhengming have expressed their interest.

Is this tournament prestigious enough to be able to afford employing Hawkeye ?

Well, it gives Superseries points.. So.. Maybe the standard is as high as SS.. Hopefully so. At least on 2 TV courts.

If GJW wins her qualifying matches, she will up against Akane Yamaguchi, what a luck for her.

Mismatch between live scoring and result. It seems gjw won 21-10, 21-6

The women's field is full of good players. Those one echelon down from the very top. She'd be lucky if she can avoid all of them.
