Hello, This may seem like an odd question but someone asked me today why there are no pretty girls in badminton. I feel like I see a decent amount of them when playing casually but not at the professional level. Does anyone know of any pretty girls at the professional level?
whtas pretty to one may not be so to another. by no means exhaustive, kim ha na aya ohori oem hye won chang ye na yuki fukushima, if she isnt so sour looking much of the time on court chae yoo jung nanna vainio tian qing, if she wasnt built like a tank puttita supajirakul yu xiaohan, after losing some weight but still suspended gronya somerville? reiko shiota, retired kumiko ogura, retired prakash padukone's daughter, deepika...stretching the criteria a bit... iris metspalu, umpire
It is rather silly to worry about who is pretty and who isn't. Of course the BWF sponsors would love to have a bevy of beauties to help sell their products. But on the other hand, isn't it a nice thing to know that there are realms of public activity where women can rise to the top by their skill without regard to looks. For pretty girls, it sounds like you have it made right where you are right now.
Thanks for the sample jak! Fidget, I would agree to some extent that beauty is only skin deep but I also think that for people to enjoy watching female badminton games some beauty is needed. I think I read an article not too long ago where they are requiring female players to wear shorts and skirts in order to help sparkle an audience.
Oh FFS. Could we please try to appreciate women in sport as athletes and competitors, and not eye-candy for men to drool over?
I think actually the hair is the problem, as they play, many of the female player tie their hair, but actually if they don't, they are really pretty.
That's just his signature, and it's a joke. Well, mostly. Look at any of Kwun's posts and you'll see it.
Lemme start. So since these are athletes, let's concentrate on the athletic aspect first. Someone else can do the eye candy stuff later. Gronya Somerville
