    You're welcome.

Apparently we all missed Lee Dong Keun's presence today.

For a moment I thought people had seen LD in the stadium today, the boos were that loud.

Nah, MAS fans don't like Rosmah, the datin of badminton, the PM's wife. But the booing really spoiled the mood of the ceremony and made it seem the audience is petty.

    Good analysis.

    Shuttle shall not be unsighted.

9.5 In doubles, during the delivery of service (Law 9.2, 9.3), the partners may take up any positions within their respective courts, which do not unsight the opposing server or receiver.

It is a sensible law and legitimate complaint.

Maybe it's psychological for CHN players in MAS? Like LD, Chai/Hong?

True, but recently seems like LD has broken that trend...

I agree too that Chen Long might be just relaxing. Chen Long definitely had some good rallies. It wasn't as bad as some people say.
LCW just had the momentum and CL didn't look like wanted to answer it.

CL is much more a patient and defensive player, but he "can" attack if he wants to. With such a long reach and height, he could play with some angles. I saw no such urgency in the whole match, even against Jonatan Christie, it looked like practice game attitude.

But there might be, a strategic component of this. To hide "secret training" before Rio. Maybe an attacking play from CL might appear in the future?

Nevertheless, I know I should post this in Equipment but this is a very active thread, so I wanted to ask if anyone noticed a new racket on LCW? I know it's a little off topic, but he's not using his DUORA 10.

Hehehe, those were the 'exciting' times.
These days its rather bland. I also branched out to other interests

Anyway, since its OG year, for sure I'll come here more often. Now is to see the list who qualified for OG, then come Aug, show time.:D

Has anyone won 11 titles anywhere in badminton history? Lee Chong Wei's 11 Malaysia Open titles must be some sort of record. I wouldn't be surprised if no one has won more than 8 titles (Hartono's 8 AE titles...anyone else?).

11 titles (let's say a decent tournament, at least "Super Series" level) may be a record that no one will ever break.

    Yup, those were the times.
Nowadays, too many posters vehemently defending their idols even with mild statements.
It's boring and the interest waning but hope to see more activities as OG approaches.
