Tennis u can find every court on streaming though so doesn't matter that much. Really don't understand BWF's stupid policy of only 2 courts streaming. Even ITTF was able to stream 8 tables at the world championships iirc
Yeah and the quality of streams have not improved one bit since... 2011? Even 2012 Olympics stream is way better than all the supposed HD streams nowadays.

An SS is a top international badminton event. But the way it's conducted is like a minor tennis tournament. Sad.
BWF still has a lot to catch up, let alone compared to the money-abundant sports such as tennis; even ITTF and FIVB still much outdo BWF in organizing the events and having the extent of media coverage incl. the quality live streaming!
Sorry for asking again this lame question, for an association to be able to send two players/pairs to Rio OG, those players must be within the Top-4 or Top-16 or what? Wrt LD vs JOJ match today, if to go to Rio must be within the Top-4, LD will strive to win the match; if Top-16 is adequate, the match most likely goes to JOJ's. LD may intend to keep his best part for Rio.
How on earth the Match of the Day isn't gonna be featured on TV??? Who cares about Ouseph vs Jonatan Christine? Again like yesterday's telecast, all games involving any Chinese player are kept off the TV court during broadcast time, how on earth is BWF gonna promote badminton if TV is not going to attract Chinese viewers in China? China, beside being a giant in the badminton world, it is the World's 2nd largest economy. If the BWF is not interested with attracting sponsors like Chinese companies for sponsorships, like what ITTF is doing to table tennis, BWF is not doing badminton a good deed in the long run.

Because the organizers want to put all department at TV court. And WD KOR vs INA maybe much promising than other WD. And they have to put Indonesian, because many Indonesian live at Malaysia, and will be many viewers at stadium or TV from Indonesian.
