Zwiebler is a bad matchup for Long and no matchup (lol) for Dan. Strange cases.

Once again, Chen Long let Marc get into rhythm and dictate most of the rallies , and he didn't know how to break it until late in the match. Not a good start for Chen Long.

This match is like a bullfight, with Chen Long, the raging bull, in the end goring Marc, the matador, to death instead (figuratively speaking).

:D:pWow looks like Vladimir Ivanov / Ivan Sozonov just won their match 21-11, 21-9. Boy they must be very happy to have an easy win. Bothe the Russian MD must be thinking that wow the umpires are helping me to win. Hi hi just joking.

To me, if this opening match from Chen Long is any indication, I doubt we'll see him in the final.

Heard that this year Iskandar has been participating in tournaments carrying with him injury. But wow he has decided to continue playing in tournaments ignoring his injury. And congratulations to him for playing so well to win his game today despite injury.

Nobody should ignore his injury, it's a question of how serious it is, how much risks to take and whether it's worth it.

This you are right. Perhaps Iskandar is just taking risks to continue playing in tournaments.

    Sorry for jumping in late!
I was away almost entire day, few things I would like to mention!
HSP has really improved not many outside elites can give KM such a scare he is among the calm and composed ones!
Luo's today's performance is surely an indication of there lack of winning "hunger" they can't be selected for UC!
Jia Yifan and partner are a very bright future prospect not every Jr can def the Danish ladies easily!
It's high time to demote WZM (this isn't the first time I am saying this :D )
PVS can get back in form from here if she concentrates!
If KS doesn't take a break and get back on track he'll be the finest analogy of "one time wonder"
    SN is in fine form!
Jonatan is undisputed future INA #1 (I have said it before)
NO may not survive till the weekends!
CL undoubtedly requires more match training! I wish he wins it
Ng and CTC deserves a "cool down" break
