I feel that a less tired LXR, from accumulated fatigue, would have increased her chances of winning. Today is just not her day.

LXR was all the time playing a controlled game instead of her forte, ferocious attack, obviously out of fatigue considerations. But that's the way it is, how the tournament goes for each player is beyond anyone's control, you just have to take it and do the best you can under the circumstances. You win some, you lose some.

Rrrrratchanok (as GC pronounces it) did it! Well played. She was too good for LXR today.

OH yes. What a sweat victory for Ratchanok :)
Makes the WS even more competitive. Important for her self-belief. Beating LXR, to know she can do it.
Also very nice to have her back at the very top (even though she needs to confirm this result in the coming tournaments ;) ), just nice to watch

Yes.. RI reminded me too of Marin. She used to be such a silent lady. But the scream is probably 1/10th of that of Marin.

This victory is a psychological boost for IR, reducing her negative H2H, going forward. Somehow I still feel that LXR at her best can take on IR.

I believe Li Xuerui will always come back stronger to win her Ws match in Olympics 2016.
