Glad that Pronnoy won. Congrats to him.

Surprised that HBJ managed to beat WYH.
Perhaps the 2 girls China will be sending to Rio are-LXR and HBJ.

At the moment, it'll be a risk not worth taking! WSX is looking good and if everything progresses like this then she shall accompany LXR to Rio

Perhaps it's too early, but WSX hasn't won anything recently. The best she has done is reaching finals.
    HBJ is winning!

On another note, as someone who likes simplicity and stability over aesthetics, I liked the old interface of BC better.
    Just my feedback.

Just managed to watch a few rallies. He Bingjiao is a refreshing and promising youngster. Not the same as the cookie cutter type of players like WYH and Sun Yu. She has more variation and you can tell rushing to hit the shuttle as fast as she can is not in her priority. She has more variation and thoughts to her shots.

I do agree that Rio is probably a bit too early for her. But for sure Tokyo.

Well, there are still a few tournaments before RIO qualification.
    Perhaps time will tell.

she will probably qualify. but unlike Li Xuerui in 2011/2012 who was winning SS already with a long winning streak, He Bingjiao is not as accomplished. It would be risky to send her instead of either Yihan or Shixian.

True, HBJ will have to do something special to get the Rio ticket. It's not impossible though.

Some of the rallies in HS Prannoy's encounters with Rajiv Ouseph, Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk and Marc Zwiebler are exceptional.
I was watching the match videos again - and the retrieving abilities of these guys is absolutely phenomenal.

The MD final was disappointing to watch. It was not competitive at all.

Yihan was completely uninterested to play in G2 last night. In fact, she was not settled at all since the beginning. Would be more interesting to watch if Yihan played all out like in the semis. Congrats to He BingJao. This title should boost her confidence and her ranking as well. Can't wait to see her rivalry against Akane Yamaguchi and who'll be a better player in end of the year. HBJ probably should consider to lose 2-4 kilos of weight and I guess we will see her in top 5 soon.

I suspect WYH got the news last month of her non selection for the OLY and her motivation is a bit lacking.
