Found the live stream for the Swiss Open 2016. http://www.badvid.tk/2016/03/badminton-swiss-open-2016-live.html Seems like live streaming is available for all the 4 different courts from Tuesday till Sunday. For me myself I feel that this is indeed a good way to promote badminton by letting all the supporters watch the matches live at different courts.
For me myself personally I must admit that the timing of this match is really a mismatch for me so I didn't have such opportunity to watch any of the matches live. Two weeks of continuous no sleep to watch the German Open and All England open makes it impossible for me to stay up all night again this week. Anyway I did check the results online and I was extremely surprised to know that both Sho Sasaki and Takuma Ueda lost to unknown and unranked MS players in the first round of their MS tournament yesterday. What an upset created indeed.

First upset result. 0:32 St. Jakobshalle Basel - 4 6:10 PM MS Henri HURSKAINEN Sweden - Japan Sho SASAKI [8] 21-17 21-14 Second upset result. 1:15 St. Jakobshalle Basel - 4 6:45 PM MS Anders ANTONSEN Denmark - Japan Takuma UEDA [15] 21-15 21-18 Of course to be honest when I look at these 2 results o felt so sad. I know the Japanese players are extremely good and have been performing well in tournaments but then losing at the first round to unknown players is not what I am expecting from them.
For the 33-yr-old Sho Sasaki, it's his third consecutive tournaments in as many weeks, so not too surprising.
Yes indeed lots of upsets. Even Akane Yamaguchi is send packing too. Wow i guess lots of upsets will be expected in this tournament then.
Upsets detected. Oh I miss that match earlier on. Ultina Maria just won over Akane Yamaguchi in 2 straight sets. Oh wow.
Something interesting to say about this XD match. Second set Xu Chen / Ma Jin won 21-19, then the first set Japanese won 21-19. But I guess the third set of the march makes a big difference. Hence finally Xu Chen / Ma Jin win the third set 21-12 and seal the game. Wow.
Don't tell me a youngster like Akane cannot handle back-to-back tournaments with several days rest in-between as she didn't go deep in the prior tournament? Perhaps we should give more credit to Maria Ultina for her performance.
Akane lost to Maria Ultina Minatsu Mitani thrashed by Sun Yu Except NO other girl's graph aren't improving at all, I don't find any reason regarding JPN getting better of CHN atleast in WS! NO is an exception, an individual case!
Sameer did well yesterday def Emil Holst! Emil is no pushover even for top 15 players! He'll be up against WZM who is surely inconsistent and but is also extremely talented! It'll be a big test for youngster
Andres is a real rising star, + TU is going downhill both the reasons make this "UPSET" not so surprising for me! Watch out for Andres and Mia 2 young Danish stars and possibly future flag bearers
Sameer won the g1, 21-19 it was really close! He was up 13-10 and down 19-18 but did well to finish it early! Let go bro finish it in g2 only, a decider won't favor us
2 more new upsets created. Marcus ELLIS England Chris LANGRIDGE England - Indonesia Berry ANGRIAWAN Indonesia Ryan Agung SAPUTRA 21-16 21-19 0:50 St. Jakobshalle Basel - 1 Kim ASTRUP Denmark Anders Skaarup RASMUSSEN Denmark - Japan Takeshi KAMURA [7] Japan Keigo SONODA 21-15 21-19 0:45 St. Jakobshalle Basel - 2 Looks like most of the Japanese players unfortunately have been booted out from this tournament leaving behind Sayaka Sato and another WD. Too bad.
