Marin vs Okuhara may well be the Gold Medal match come Rio!

The way Lin Dan quite convincingly beat Jan Jorgensen last night (and Chou last week) - particularly his display in the last 2 sets - it seems to suggest that if he is as motivated as LCW and title hungry, he could be sweeping away all the titles again, much to the displeasure of ROW. But I reckon he is not "title greedy" anymore and would give others a chance - which unfortunately may sometimes be misconstrued as "being chicken"; "a cheat" or "past his prime'.

Looks like the AE MD title is already in the bag of the Koreans Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong. Nothing short of a miraculous performance by their opponents can stop them now.

Yoo is having some problem, he did not smash full Power almost anytime the last 2 Days but they still could win so far.

Yeah, so far my predictions for the Olympic games winners still are:

    MS - Chen Long
    WS - Carolina Marin
    MD - Ahsan/Setiawan
    XD - Zhang/Zhao

agree with you but only if ahsan change his emotion on the court especially when his attacking is not working. However, they always manage this win big event.

Well - at least he is in form after the demise of Chen Long and LCW.

Couldn't watch quite a few matches yesterday! But I feel lucky to witness LD thrashing JOJ esp in g2, and what to say about his victory celebration!
LXR as I said was looking a bit sloppy here and so was VA, both of them crashed yesterday!
Praveen/Debby did well to outclass BYX and partner, who were looking quite good!
Not so in form INA clinical pair of TA/LN bite the dust yet again unexpectedly as Mr and Mrs Adcocks combined exceptionally well and dominated throughout!
I don't think CM will have a bad year at all she was looking commendable yesterday, leaping and jumping in air delivering what seems like even more steep and lethal smashes! RI was doing well in g2 but CM has better mental fitness!
Both TTY and NO literally thrashed their opp (esp NO) WS will steal the spotlight yet again!
After a long long time CHN has completely dominating MS lineup with only HKV representing a flag which doesn't have yellow stars tonight! The European hopeful has enjoyed a comparatively easier ride en-route the SF! Can he deny all CHN affair??
MM/AT surprised everyone by dismissing WC and OGC ZYL/TQ!
TYT/YY in WD and YYS/LYD looking formidable in MD, can somebody spoil the party??
A crackling SF day is expected! But disappointed by TV court lineup no TTY vs WSX

You are speculating WSX as the winner already?
I mean I love the way she handles pressure and all that but TTY looked committed and it seems she has bid farewell to her inconsistency and flamboyantness, let's see which TTY appears today!

It's gonna be tough for the Adcocks today. Hopefully they can use the crowd and get a good result.
