Srikanth is much much better player than his chinese opponent. We all watched him beating the same opponent last week in convincing way. Today , he allowed him to claim the second game. Kudos to Srikanth. Jiayou
Here is the reply. Ibam trying to say things in an honest and truthful manner. Sad to say refereeing errors still happen in this tournament. Today in the finals refereeing errors are seen in the MD and MS match. Previously there are some refereeing errors too. I think this is normal as refereeing errors do happen from time to time in different tournaments. Hope the bwf will do something about it before it is too late.
Bad line judging seems to be the order of the day - practically everyday in this tournament. Wipes off the glitter of Srikanth's victory.
Agree, that awful call marred SK's victory. Makes it look like he gain the pyscological upper hand because of it.
Yes you are right. Srikanth plays better in the third set but can't help noticing the refereeing errors too.
Yes you are right. The refereeing errors ar quite serious. Every day got refereeing errors. To be honest even the second MD match yesterday is full of refereeing errors but the Korean coach have decided to just let it go.
You are right. Gross refereeing errors. Yesterday Boonsak protested to no avail. That puts him in a self destruction manner losing the game.
Wow.....Srikanth needed a bad line call from Umpire to beat China's MS17 ??? Dark days ahead for my broTHER
Can't call these "errors" if they are intentional "oversights" to support the host country's players... Doesn't BWF require for neutral-nationality umpires and service judges in a tournament? The MD and MS finals had players and court officials from the host nation... not to mention the linesmen.
That was BY FAR the worst line call I've ever seen at this level. What an absolute disgrace to the game! Believing that the line judges would actually favor their home players is rediculous, but then again, I can't think of any other explanation!
